PRINCIPAL AND FOUNDER
Sean is the principal and founder of Integrated Financial Strategies, LLC. He began his career in wealth management in 1991 and has spent the past several decades working with clients across the country. Sean has a passion for connecting with his clients on a deeper level and helping them grow personally as well as financially. Always questioning, his fascination with business, wealth and family is the driving force behind his activity. Sean is a 4th generation Coloradoan, and currently balances time between homes in Omaha and Littleton, residing with his wife, Terri, and their growing extended family.

A valued member of our professional staff, Emil has been in the financial services industry since 2000, with a well-rounded background in planning, compliance, operations, and team building. After more than a decade of conversations with longtime friend Sean, the two officially partnered in 2024 to grow the vision of Integrated Financial Strategies. Emil thrives on building relationships and tackling challenges, whether it’s offering a fresh perspective or connecting clients with the right professional. A true Coloradan, Emil embodies the “all-American cliché”: life in the suburbs with his wife, four kids, and two dogs. When he’s not with clients, you’ll find him trying to keep up with the kids, exploring the mountains, or hanging out with friends and family—all while staying deeply connected to the community he calls home.
BRETT HEUERTZ
ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Brett joined IFS in January of 2021. He is an Associate Financial Advisor for our Asset Management group and holds Series 7, 66, and life insurance licenses. Brett handles tasks such as investment research, account servicing, and conducting review meetings with our investment clients. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time outdoors and is a Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan as well as a Denver University hockey season ticket holder.
Carrick McCann
Client Service Representative
Carrick joined Integrated Financial Strategies in 2024, where he plays an essential role in supporting both clients and advisors through the firm’s daily operations. He ensures every client request is handled with efficiency and care. As one of the first points of contact for clients, Carrick takes pride in providing a professional, thoughtful, and personable experience with each interaction. He brings strong organizational skills, a genuine heart for service, and a commitment to continual learning within the financial services industry. A Colorado native, Carrick is grounded in his faith, strives to live with integrity, purpose, and a desire to make a positive impact on those around him.
TERRI LANE
Client Experience
Terri has been with Integrated Financial Strategies since 2020. She currently works as our human resources chair and helps facilitate behind-the-scenes operations within our practice. Terri splits her time between her two homes in Nebraska and Colorado. She enjoys spending her free time swimming, biking, or with her large, blended family.
